Winners of Best of APLF Awards were announced at the Fashion Access Happy Hour on 29 September, the 2nd day of the 3-day fair. The Best of APLF Awards is an initiative that recognises design excellence & creativity among exhibitors - spearheaded by the organisers APLF Ltd and supported by industry professionals.
There were a total of seven award categories this season. It gives the organisers great pleasure to publish the results and congratulate all the winners:
-Best Bag: Trends Award - Francs-Bourgeois, Hong Kong
-Best Bag: Manufacturing Award - Guangzhou Hua Hui Leatherware Co. (Nanileful), China
-Best Bag: Colour Award - Calonge, India
-Best Concept for Footwear - Unleashed Innovations, Australia
-Best Ladies ’ Footwear Collection - Luckson Shoes (Oro Nero), Hong Kong
-Best Fashion Trends Accessory Collection - Diefenthal Asia Limited, Hong Kong
-Best Lifestyle Product - E-Prize Limited, Hong Kong
Joining the Best of APLF Awards Head Judge, Olivier Guillemin (founder of Paris-based design consultancy (o,o) and also Creative Director of Fashion Access) and returning judge Jayne Esteve Cure (founder of Jayne Fashion Agency Paris and Fashion Advisor to Fashion Access), are: Judy Tchou, manager of the trends team at Wing On Department Stores; Sheila Cooke, Design Consultant and part-time lecturer at Hong Kong Polytechnic University ’ s School of Design and Flora Ho, senior buyer of the fashionable Seibu Department Stores.
